Troubleshooting H2O MOP

Hello All,

    I believe most of you who reads this blog will be a victim like me who bought the H2O Mop by watching the  attractive advertisement in the teleshopping.

As most of you would have guessed, this product is made in china and my personnel feeling is that the quality is very bad and not tested properly.

Well, i had several issues with the H2O mop and every time i manged to repair it.

Step 1: Connect the power connector to the AC supply, RED light should glow, if not open it and check for any wire damage.

Step 2: RED light glow and turn into GREEN after few seconds, but pressing the button produces no vapour? Well, there are chances that the low quality power button would be broken, to ensure this keep pressing the button for a moment and see whether the vapour is coming out, is so you need to replace the power button.

Step 3: No luck with step 2 ? do you hear a pump noise slightly which tries to pump the water? then mostly probably the low quality electromagnetic water pump would have been broken, open and pump and exchange the O rings.

Step 4: Pump is working fine but the heater doesn't accept any input of water, this is for sure the calcium deposit under the heater, in this case unmount the heater completely and clean the calcium.

Unmounting guide:

Tools required:

* Noise pailier

* Philips head screwdriver

* Special head screwdriver, checkout the photo.

Opening the case

   In the back side of the device there are around 8 screws, among them 2 are special screw and rest of them of philips head screws. Remove all the 8 screws, from the bottom of the device try to open the case, at the top there is plastic latch, just pull it you can easily manage to remove it.

Components

1. Reservoir: Right side white colored box.

2. Heater: Left side grey colored box.

3. Water pump: Left side black colored box.
